He pursued MD in Internal Medicine at JIPMER (Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research), Pondicherry and then rounded off by doing his fellowship in Endocrinology in PGI (Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research), Chandigarh.After a brief stint at Apollo Hospitals, he turned entrepreneur. He is presently one of the MDs of the Magna Clinics for Obesity, Diabetes and Endocrinology, and chief endocrinologist at the Hyderabad unit.His early hobbies included reading fiction novels, mainly mystery novels and listening to music. He had immense interest in the lyrics of all the songs he heard. Roger Waters of Pink Floyd was one of his greatest inspirations to create and write.In his school days, he wrote for school magazines. He also wrote short stories, diaries and songs for his school and college day bands. As a medical professional, he has 28 publications, teaches medicine, and addressed more than 200 scientific forums. He is interested in Karaoke and was declared the crowd favorite in the 2011 showdown in Hyderabad. He presently reads historical fiction, science fiction and thrillers.

Her mother is a tailor, while her father is a staff assistant. She graduated from G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Science (Information Technology) Hyderabad. Supporting her higher education was difficult for her parents, yet they made sure that her brother and she completed their education. Her mother taught her how to be determined and face the hurdles in life as she grew up seeing her being bold and determined. Becoming an author was never her dream. She just wanted to write a story and let others see through her imagination. She feels that she is just an 'accidental writer'. The only statement that can define her perfectly is a gutsy person who does not think about negative consequences once the seed of a thought starts growing within her mind. Apart from writing, she is an abstract painter. She also likes reading ancient Indian history, Vedas, and the Bhagavad-Gita.
