She graduated from the Cambridge University and got her Master's degree from Harvard Law School. She has also worked for 5 years as an attorney at Baker & McKenzie. Mody has formed two mergers. She is a managing partner of AZB & Partners, which is one of India's largest law firms. She is married to Jaydev Mody and has three daughters with him. She's the daughter of Soli Sorabjee, who is a famous jurist.
