Later, he made a deep study of Gandhiji for his M.Ed. Dissertation in 1964. He continued to pursue intensive study of Gandhiji and published his first book on Gandhhiji during Gandhi Centenary year. The book 'Gandhian Philosophy - A Critical and Comprehensive Study', with a foreword by Dr. R.R. Diwakar, Chairman, Gandhi Peace Foundation, New Delhi got appreciative comments from several authorities on the subject in India and Abroad. Prof. Dhiman has published several original books which found wide circulation. He has delivered extension lectures in various Universities and Colleges. Prof. Dhiman is a firm believer in Gandhian Principles and he adopted those principles throughout his life.
