Bobby Fischer, born in 1943, was an American chess grandmaster. He won the eleventh World Chess Champion, and is consider to be a great chess player. At the age of 14, Fischer won eight United States Championships. He got the only perfect score in the history of the US Championship, at the age of 20. In 1971, Fischer became the No. 1 player of the World Chess Federation, and spent fifty-four months at the position. He patented a modified chess timing system in the 1990s. Fisher passed away in 2008.Stuart Margulies is a chess master, and an expert on programmed learning.
