He is currently the Boards of Governors Professor at Rutgers. After receiving his doctoral degree, Kenneth Torrance held a joint appointment with the Fire Research Section of the National Bureau of Standards and the Factory Mutual Engineering Corporation, in Norwood Massachusetts.
