Akshay Bhaskar was born in 1989 in Agra. His father worked in the Indian Air Force and the continuous moving around the country and the lack of friends thereof resulted in a very imaginative mind. The vast green landscapes of Assam, and the hills and the mountains of the northeast and its culture have been inspirational in the creation of Aniera. The true form of the book began to take shape at the age of 14, while Akshay was supposed to be studying for his board exams, and continued straight through law school. Apart from reading books and writing, he also likes hiking, trekking and although he despises education, he loves learning. He lives in Mumbai with his family.
