About the Author: About The AuthorRahul Pandita is an Indian author who is also a journalist and has previously been a war correspondent. He is known for his news reports from Sri Lanka and Iraq and other war-hit countries. His latest focus has been on the the Indian Red Corridor's Maoist movement. He has also done news reports from the North-Eastern side of India. He is the associate editor and senior special correspondent of OPEN. Pandita has written several books, including The Absent State: Insurgency As An Excuse For Misgovernance, which he co-authored with Neelesh Misra and Our Moon Has Blood Clots: The Exodus of The Kashmiri Pandits.
