Highway on My Plate - 2: The Indian Guide to Roadside Eating is co-written by Mayur Sharma and Rocky Singh. Both hail from a military background and their friendship dates back to 1976. They have anchored a number of TV shows together. Highway on My Plate was one of their hit travel shows and the book is adapted from the same. Apart from travelling and food, Rocky's other interests include scuba diving, golf and ornithology. Rock-climbing, squash and extensive travelling are Mayur's interests. Jai Hind with Rocky and Mayur and India's Most Haunted are two of the other TV shows hosted by this duo.
