About the Author: Jawaharlal Nehru is the first Prime Minister of India. He was born on 14 November 1889 and died on 27 May 1964. He is one of the prime political figures in India during the 20th century. He has indulged in the freedom movements of India during its British rule. Nehru was a graduate of Trinity College, Cambridge where he studied law. in India, his birthday is celebrated as Children's day.
