This Book Provides An Overview About What Type Of Right Is Appropriate To Secession, Both From Liberal And Marxist Point Of View. Though These Two Concepts Seem To Be Different Butt H E Reality Is That They Share An Interconnection Between Them. That Means Presence Of Participatory Nature Of Governance Might Reduce The Chance Of Secession. East Pakistan Seceded From West Pakistan In 1971, And Formed A New Country Bangladesh. The Reason Behind This Secession Was Absence Of That Type Of Governance Which Allows The Presence Of People In The Political Process Irrespective Of Their Ethnic Identities. Bangladesh Today Is Suffering From Ethnic Clashes And Other Political Problems. This Book Tries To Find To What Extent Bangladesh Is Able To Avoid The Option Of Secession., About The Author:- Gargi Sengupta, Author Of The Book Participatory Governance In The Context Of Secession: A Case Study Of Bangladesh, Is Presently Working As Assistant Professor (Ad-Hoc) In The Department Of Political Science, Of Ramanujan College, University Of Delhi.
