Description About The Author:- Saiyid Zaheer Husain Jafri, is Reader in History at the Delhi University, obtained his Ph.D. degree from the Centre of Advanced Study in History, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh in 1986 for his work on 'Agrarian Conditions in Awadh, c 1595 to 1856'.
