In an imaginary town, called Building Buildong lived a pretty woman called Natasha Missy. She is single and lives in this huge house called Gurukul. With Natasha lives her old father Baba as he is fondly called by all. Baba is an old grouch and has become very eccentric when his foot gets gangrene due to a boil, which has not been nursed. The wound gets big with pus and blood and the doctors and his son Mamu take a decision of having it amputated. The trauma of living with one leg makes the old man determined to bring the house down. He blames his son who lives in Chreerimika with his wife Riddhi and their four daughters for amputating his leg. He takes it upon himself of remaining in this pessimistic mood until he dies. Natasha and her bonded servants Kamal and Kaka take care of the old man. Most of the time Baba lives in a pretended state of dementia. He throws tantrums, screams, and abuses and brings much anguish to Natasha Missy. Natasha's added responsibility does not permit her to get married to her playwright lover Ozan who lives in a rustic village called Ondaatee. The story revolves around Gurukul and the animals that are housed there. The story communicates about love and hate, about relations and about a dream world that men and women live in. The characters, be it the maidservant Kamal, Vidya, Missy's friends, her parents and the men around who have small boundaries around them. The entire story is set in an imaginary place called Building Buildong and narrated by Kitty the cat.
