Description About The Author:- Satyendra Kumar, holds a Master's degree of Patna University and obtained his LLB and Ph.D. degrees from Magadh University, Bodh Gaya (Bihar). After a brief but exciting excursion into left politics in the late 60s, Kumar joined as a lecture in English in 1970. He is now Reader and Head of the Department of English at S.N. Sinha College, Jehanabad. He has participated in a number of seminars and conferences and has had several literary articles published in reputed journals like Indian Journal of English Studies (IJES) and Indian Journal of American Studies (IJAS). His name also figures in the International Directory of American Studies Specialist-a periodical publication of American Studies International, George Washington University. He is currently working on a UGC post - doctoral research project on Modern American Drama. Though teaching is Mr. Kumar's vocation, journalism is his avocation.
