About The Book Tarot cards, originated in the mid-15th century in an attempt to bring about spiritual awakening and deeper understanding of oneself, have gone on to become quite prominent and relevant on a global platform expanding well beyond their modest roots in Europe. However, it was the 1909 released Rider-Waite tarot deck inclusive of a key manual that helped nurture tarot reading and made its universal significance/presence gradually felt as the years passed on. Many unaccredited versions of the same with minor tweaks in the form of sophisticated drawings and elaborated historic detail came into existence but little did they contribute to enrich the results of the entire tarot-reading exercise. However, with the copyright tangles resolved, the Original Rider-Waite Tarot Pack witnessed its wide, unprecedented presence in worldwide markets in 1993 where the 78 cards were classified to two Arcanas(classes)-major and minor on the basis of symbolic significance. Interpretations varying from 'The Fool' to 'The Master of Life', the cards had and still have that miraculous power of examining deep into one's choices. The major Arcanas, 22 of them, dedicate their presence to depict the root of an issue while the minor ones are supporting cards, literally the lending hands in place to resolve the same. They come along with 'The Key to the Tarot', to brace users with the innate truths and revelations that the cards metaphorically confess. Available in paperback, the Original Rider-Waite Tarot Pack was published in 10 June 1999. Key Features Pamela Colman Smith, in spite of the cover page credits was only a hired artist for illustrations and drawings. The motion picture, Live and Let Die (1973) was popular for the partial use of Rider-Waite tarot deck. Animated backdrop of the deck in place for Madonna's Re-Invention World Tour 2004 for the song "Hollywood"
